Pros:
- Cool action scenes
- Awesome bomber near the end
- …
Cons:
- Way, way to long
- Time compression to the extreeeeeeeeeeeeeme (bordering on the ridiculous)
- Shaky Cam
- Annoying characters (you know who you are) (some of whom I wanted to die, even though they were "good")
- Bullshit story, with plot lines and details that go nowhere.

My new rank in Trackmania Nations Forever
June 25th, 2009I have about 15 tracks to finish before I collect all the medals. Tonight I finished about 5 tracks. 4 I did pretty quickly, the 5th took a number of tries. Soon my training for XLAN will be complete! Well, not really, but well on the way! 
Big BMW
June 24th, 2009Today in the car park I was almost run over by a woman who was driving the largest BMW sedan I’ve ever seen. It was obviously far too large a car for her to handle. Please buy a Toyota Corolla instead, or better yet, stop driving altogether.
Soup Competition
June 22nd, 2009So there’s a soup promotion on at the supermarket. It’s super. It’s amazing. It’s even promoted on the radio.
So what do you have to do? Well, you buy 2 packets of soup and enter a draw to with 1 of 4 supermarket gift cards worth twenty five dollars.
$25!!!
Yes that’s correct. I mean, $100 sure. But $25?

Moron on the road
June 15th, 2009As I was driving home from work today I came across a scenario I had always thought about but which had never happened, until now.
In the following picture, you can see an intersection:
There was a person on a bike, shown by the red cross:
My car is shown by the blue rectangle:
The directions we wanted to travel are shown; I wanted to turn left, moron wanted to go straight:
The moron should have been in the right lane as shown:
Allowing us both to go the way we wanted without the cyclist being crushed by my tires:
Thus, if you are a cyclist, GET IN THE CORRECT LANE!
Bad Pizza
June 9th, 2009Tonight I ordered a pizza online from Dominos Pizza. I have done this numerous times before with no problem at all.
I went crazy tonight and ordered the following pizza:
- 1/2 and 1/2 Meatosaurus and Fire Eater
- Tripple Cheese Crust
- Chicken Kickers
This cost just over $20.
Tonight the pizza took over an hour to arrive, and was lukewarm at best. I sent Dominos an email advising them of this travesty. I expect a refund at the very least.
3 New Zealand Wines:
June 8th, 2009Today I have 3 New Zealand Wines for you:
Stop Banks Merlot 2006:
I bought this wine as it was on special. Apparently it wasn’t selling and so was now a clearance line. My lucky day! An excellent Merlot, exactly what I’d expect from a 2006. 4/5.
Five Flax Merlot Cabernet 2007:
A decent, non-offensive (and reasonably cheap) everyday drinking wine. Recommended. 4/5.
Montana Reserve Chardonnay Pinot Noir Brut Cuvée:
This is a superior sparkling white wine in the champagne style. A fusion between Lindauer Special Reserve Brut Cuvée and Jacob’s Creek Chardonnay Pinot Noir. (Dry and Fruity for the uninitiated.) I purchased this bottle for $15.99 on special. Not a bad price for such a good wine.
Highly recommended 5/5.

So, I finally finished BioShock
May 27th, 2009As the title says. I started playing BioShock when it first came out, and finished it on Saturday. It was actually a pretty good game, I just lacked the motivation to play it.
I started Command and Conquer 3: Kane’s Wrath. It’s a really good strategy game. I’m playing it on easy and I’m half way through. Red Alert 3 is next.
Another game I need to finish is Neverwinter Nights. I know I’m near the end. Then of course there’s the two expansions…
