Earth: Final Conflict

Second only to my love of Star Trek is Earth: Final Conflict. This show is brilliant.

It is all about the Taelons, who have come to Earth for some reason, and their attempts to control humanity. Central to this is the resistance, which is a group of people (mostly the main characters) who want to see the Taelons leave Earth once and for all.

The Taelon Mothership is a thing of beauty. Check out this animation I made of it:

As the seasons progress we learn all about the Taelons and why they have come to Earth.

Sadly Season 5 was no where near as good as the other seasons, mainly because Augur went somewhere else and the main characters are no longer Taelons but Atavus...

One of the most evil characters ever is FBI Special Agent Ronald Sandoval. He is Zo'or's protector.

Sandoval is a great character, always in contact with Renee and Liam (and in the first season Boone), but has no idea that they are in the resistance and are actually working against him.

The Mothership is a thing of beauty. It is unfortunate that the Taelons are evil.

I bought Seasons 3, 4 and 5 on DVD, unfortunately Season 1 and 2 are unavailable at the moment because a different company owns the rights to seasons 1 and 2.
